Is there a PosteAhora app on Zapier?

No, and you do not need one. Webhooks by Zapier calls the PosteAhora REST API directly: a Custom Request step sends POST /posts with a JSON body. Use Custom Request rather than the plain POST event, because a post lists its accounts as an array of objects (accountMappings), which the POST event's key-value fields cannot express.

Which Zapier plan do I need?

Webhooks by Zapier is not on Zapier's Free plan; Zapier lists it for Professional, Team and Enterprise, and Free Zaps are limited to two steps anyway. That is Zapier's to change, so check their pricing page before you build. Each step that runs uses a Zapier task. On our side, API access is on every plan: a 7-day trial for $0 with a card on file, then a flat monthly or yearly price, unlimited posts, and plans that differ by how many social accounts you can connect.

How does Zapier sign in to PosteAhora?

With an API key in a header, not a browser login. Create the key on the API page with the scopes the Zap needs — posts:write, plus accounts:read, analytics:read or ideas:write if you use them — and send Authorization: Bearer pah_live_… with every request. A key belongs to one workspace. Treat it like a password and revoke it in PosteAhora if it leaks.

Why does the request fail when the caption has line breaks?

Zapier pastes mapped text into the raw body as it is, so a quote or a line break — and AI-written captions have plenty — breaks the JSON and the API answers 400. Add a Code by Zapier step before the request that builds the body and returns JSON.stringify of it, then map that output into Data. Short, single-line values are usually safe without it.

Can one Zap post to several networks, with an image?

Yes. Send one POST /posts with several entries in accountMappings and a caption per network in platformCaptions; PosteAhora fans it out into one post per network, so a failure on one does not block the others. Copy the account ids from GET /accounts once and keep them as fixed values. For media, put a public URL in mediaUrls — PosteAhora fetches and stores the file before publishing. A link that needs a login will not work.

Does the Zap wait for the post to go out?

Accepted Answer

No. Publishing is asynchronous: the step returns 201 with the post ids straight away. To branch on the outcome, add Delay by Zapier and then a Webhooks GET on /posts/{id}. PosteAhora sends no Zapier triggers of its own, so anything that watches PosteAhora runs on Schedule by Zapier followed by a GET.

Can I use PosteAhora's MCP server from Zapier instead?

Accepted Answer

There is a second route: MCP Client by Zapier, with Server URL https://mcp.posteahora.com/mcp, Transport Streamable HTTP, OAuth set to No and your pah_live_ key as the Bearer Token. Its Run Tool action calls one tool per step, such as schedule_post, and Zapier says it also works in Zapier Agents. It is a Zapier beta on the same plans as Webhooks, and we have not tested how it fills nested fields like accountMappings, so the Custom Request is the path we document. Zapier MCP is a different product that goes the other way.
