Networks & limits
Every network we publish to: post types, how much media it takes, how long a caption can be, and the rules that only bite at publish time.
Every network
Post types, media counts and caption caps come from the same configuration the composer uses, so this list can’t drift from the product. Open a network for the rules behind the numbers. Shapes and file sizes live on Media requirements.
Caption limits are characters — except Bluesky, which counts graphemes, so an emoji costs one instead of two.
Reading the badges
Every rule says where it came from. They are not equally reliable.
A cap we apply ourselves, before the network sees the request.

We published to a live account and measured what happened.
When the last two disagree, the verified one wins. Instagram’s accepted sizes on Media requirements are exactly that case.
